The Astrology of the First Half of December

We start December creeping towards the Full Moon in Gemini that will be on the 4th. Energies will be coming to a head at this time, so ensure that there is extra support in your days leading up to the Full Moon. The Gemini Full Moon may bring up themes of expression, adolescence, and the many ways we intake and discharge energies. You may be brought to a conversation with people you consider to be your siblings in this human experience. You might find yourself exploring to a new world, literally or figuratively. It’s a good time for deep discussions, taking up a new mental task, and embracing youthful energies. Let all of your faces evolve.

On the 5th, take it easy with yourself as you recover from the Full Moon; incorporate healing and invigorating aspects to your day. The 6th to the 9th is a good time to get things done while simultaneously exploring what’s coming next. Add whatever will aid in flexibility and calming.

On the 10th, Neptune will go direct for the last time in Pisces! Let yourself indulge in the dreams and fantasies of the last 15 years before we end a generational cosmic cycle that started 165 years ago and begin a new one with Neptune in Aries on January 26.

Mercury will enter Sagittarius (again) on the 11th while making a trine to Neptune and a sextile to Pluto—use this day to engage in alleviating spiritual work and thought. What can you do over the course of the next 3 weeks to bring about spiritual advancement that invokes your psyche?

The 12th is a time of heightened Moon energy; make sure to add emotional grounding to your day. Don’t let others control your energy. Use the 13th and 14th to rest and rejuvenate. Take care of yourself.
